Fabuwood Tuscany Cabinets

Tuscany is Fabuwood's classic five-piece shaker — a flat center panel surrounded by four straight rails — and the most specified door style in Palm Beach County kitchens. The framed construction adds shadow lines and depth that flat-panel doors can't replicate, which gives the cabinetry a more substantial, custom feel.

Construction

How Tuscany is built

Tuscany is built on Fabuwood's Allure platform: solid wood stiles and rails joined with mortise-and-tenon construction (framed vs. frameless explained), MDF center panels on painted finishes for stability, Blum Compact Clip concealed soft-close hinges, dovetail drawer boxes on full-extension runners, and a 1/2" plywood box. It is a workhorse build that holds up to daily kitchen use.

South Florida fit

How it works in our climate

Tuscany works in transitional, coastal, and traditional Palm Beach County kitchens. South Florida Kitchen & Bath Design helps you pick the right Tuscany finish and rail width for your space — different paint colors read very differently once the cabinets are installed under your home's specific natural light.

Pairings

Countertops, hardware, and where it fits

Tuscany pairs cleanly with quartz, quartzite, granite, marble, and porcelain. Brushed brass, satin nickel, and matte black hardware all work. It is a strong choice for Wellington, Palm Beach Gardens, Boca Raton, and Jupiter renovations where homeowners want a classic look with the broadest resale appeal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Fabuwood Tuscany

Is Fabuwood Tuscany the right cabinet for a Florida kitchen?

Tuscany is Fabuwood's flagship five-piece shaker on the Allure platform. Its solid-wood mortise-and-tenon door construction, plywood box, and Blum Compact Clip soft-close hardware are well suited to year-round Florida humidity and daily-use kitchens.

How are Fabuwood Tuscany cabinets constructed?

Per the Fabuwood Allure specbook, Tuscany doors and drawer fronts are solid-wood stiles and rails joined with mortise-and-tenon construction. Drawer boxes are 5/8" solid wood with dovetail joinery and a 3/8" plywood bottom, on Blum Tandem plus Blumotion full-extension concealed runners. The face frame is 3/4" x 1-1/2" solid wood with 1/2" veneered plywood box sides dovetailed into it. Cabinets are covered by Fabuwood's Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Will Fabuwood Tuscany look dated if I install it now?

Five-piece shaker is the most timeless door silhouette in American kitchen design and shows no sign of going away. The risk isn't the door shape; it's the finish color. Stick with white, soft gray, or off-white if you're optimizing for resale.

Cabinet construction and certification standards referenced on this page follow guidelines from the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) and design recommendations from the National Kitchen + Bath Association (NKBA).
