Why MSI

About MSI Surfaces

MSI Surfaces is one of the largest stone and surface distributors in North America, and one of the lines our Palm Beach County clients request most. South Florida Kitchen & Bath Design fabricates and installs MSI Q Premium quartz plus natural granite, quartzite, and marble as part of a full design-and-install service.

The MSI catalog runs deep, with 70 colors we fabricate and install. It spans crisp marble-looks, soft warm neutrals, cool greys and concretes, and dramatic dark veining. That range is why it lands on so many Palm Beach County kitchen islands and vanities.

Whatever look you’re after, bright and modern, warm and organic, or timeless stone, there is usually a MSI that fits. Below, browse the full MSI catalog by material.

MSI stands up to humidity, citrus, and daily wear with very little fuss. We template your kitchen, fabricate to your exact layout, and install with our own Palm Beach County team. One company from the first measure to the final fit.

MSI Colors We Fabricate

Explore MSI by material below. For natural stone especially, you’ll see and sign off on the exact slab before we cut it, since no two granite or quartzite pieces are alike.

How to Choose

Choosing Your MSI Color

With 70 colors to choose from, it helps to start with the room. Bright whites and soft marble-looks keep a kitchen feeling open and airy and bounce South Florida light around; warm creams and taupes add a cozier, more organic feel; cool greys and concretes read calm and modern; and deep, dark veining makes a confident statement on an island or a feature wall.

From there, weigh how much movement you want. A heavily veined slab becomes the star of the room, so the cabinetry and hardware can stay quiet; a solid or lightly patterned color steps back and lets other finishes lead. Lighting matters too. A color reads differently under warm bulbs than in full Florida daylight, which is why we always have you see and approve the actual slab before we cut.

Living With It

Caring for MSI Countertops

How you care for MSI depends on the material. The quartz colors are non-porous and never need sealing. Warm water, a soft cloth, and mild dish soap keep them looking new. Any natural granite, quartzite, or marble we fabricate is sealed on installation; a periodic reseal and a pH-neutral stone cleaner keep it shrugging off South Florida humidity.

Skip abrasive pads and harsh chemicals, use a trivet under very hot cookware, and blot acidic spills when they happen. We walk you through the routine for your color at handoff.

Questions

Buying MSI Countertops: FAQs

Which MSI surfaces does South Florida Kitchen & Bath Design carry?

We work with the MSI range our Palm Beach County clients ask for most (Q Premium quartz plus natural granite, quartzite, and marble) and handle the design, fabrication, and install as a single project.

What goes into a MSI countertop quote?

Your number comes down to the material, total square footage, the slab grade you choose, and the edge profile. Send us your kitchen size and the MSI color you're drawn to and we'll return an itemized written estimate. Reach us at (561) 401-0064.

Is MSI a good choice for a Florida kitchen?

MSI Q Quartz needs no sealing and resists stains and humidity, while MSI quartzite handles heat well for avid cooks. We match the material to how you use your kitchen.

How much do MSI countertops cost in Palm Beach County?

Your MSI price comes down to total square footage, the slab grade you choose, the edge profile, the number of sink and cooktop cutouts, and any backsplash or removal of old tops. We template your kitchen and send one itemized written estimate instead of a vague per-foot figure. Call (561) 401-0064 with your rough kitchen size for a quick ballpark.

Do MSI countertops need to be sealed?

It depends on the material. MSI quartz is non-porous and never needs sealing; any natural granite, quartzite, or marble we fabricate is sealed on installation and resealed periodically. We'll tell you which applies to the color you choose.

How long does a MSI countertop project take?

After you approve the slab, we template your kitchen and typically install within one to two weeks. Natural stone or special-order colors can add a little lead time, which we confirm up front in your written quote.

Can I see the MSI slab before it is installed?

Yes. You review and approve the slab and the seam layout before anything is cut. For natural stone, where every slab varies, that step matters most.
