Highland Grey Shaker Cabinets
Grey Shaker is Highland's balanced mid-tone gray painted shaker — darker than Sterling or Soda, lighter than Smoky Gray. Pairs equally well with white or wood-toned counters. The default colored Highland shaker for transitional Palm Beach County kitchens.

About Highland Grey Shaker
Highland Grey Shaker cabinets — what to know
The style
Why homeowners pick it
Grey Shaker is Highland's mid-tone painted gray — true cool gray with enough depth to read as a real color, not a tinted white. The most flexible neutral we install: it works in modern coastal, transitional, and contemporary kitchens.
Construction
How Grey Shaker is built
Highland's American face-framed construction. Drawer boxes are dovetailed solid wood with 1/2" thick sides riding on full-extension undermount soft-close steel slides — they pull out completely and lift off for cleaning. Doors are full-overlay 5-piece birch wood on a birch wood face frame, hung on 6-way adjustable hidden hinges with soft-close. The cabinet box is 1/2" plywood reinforced with metal “L” brackets, with 3/4" stretchers on the back and a 4-1/2" recessed toe kick. All interiors get a clear-coat UV finish.
South Florida fit
How it works in our climate
Mid-tone greys hold up beautifully under South Florida's bright natural light without going washed-out (the way light grays can) or gloomy (the way dark grays can). UV-cured paint locks the tone in for years of consistent color.
Pairings
Countertops, hardware, and where it fits
Pairs with virtually anything — Calacatta-pattern quartz, taj mahal quartzite, white marble, brushed brass, matte black, brushed nickel. Excellent backdrop choice for Boca Raton and Wellington kitchens.
